Our Management Away Day (“M.A.D.”) this year was held 9-12 November. It was a time to review the year past, celebrate our successes, and learn from our challenges. Over these four days, we sharpened our vision and plans for the future, and laid out concrete objectives and metrics to track our performance. With a fruitful close of this event, Goodhill stands ready to continue to provide quality products and services to our customers in the years ahead.
It was a pleasure to welcome students from Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore on 7th November 2023! They joined us in Cambodia as part of their overseas study trip and explored our premises to discover more about our business. They witnessed how we handle our sales and distribution operations, got familiar with our product portfolio and service offerings, as well as saw first-hand our corporate values and culture live in action. We are delighted to host them for the second time this year, in addition to an earlier session in May. We appreciate this opportunity to share our expertise and experience with the next generation of professionals and leaders, and we hope that this collaboration has been an enriching one for all involved!
It was a glittering night of celebration on the 16th of September 2023 at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel, where Goodhill marked our 30th Anniversary of bringing quality products from global leading brands to consumers in Cambodia.
Together with Pilot Pen Corporation, Goodhill is honored to work alongside the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) in Cambodia in providing sponsorship to reward 60 outstanding Grade 9 and Grade 12 students for their academic excellence in a nationwide contest on 3 subjects – Khmer Literature, Maths and Physics.
The Federation of Education Services (“FESC”) in Cambodia is a non-profit organisation and a recognised partner of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in improving educational policy and implementation.
From January 1st, the General Department of Consumer Protection, Competition and Fraud Repression (“CCF”) will enforce new labelling requirements for products and services. Every product on the market is to be labelled with a description of the item and its contents in Khmer, using an appropriate font size that is easily read.
In line with our digitalisation push, Goodhill is happy to celebrate a new milestone with the successful go-live of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ERP System on 20 December 2022, together with our project team, key users and the vendor team from ADS (Mr. Then, Mr. Wong and Benny).
Before the year draws to a close, the Goodhill management team came together for the Annual Business Plan (“ABP”) conference held over 3 days in December– on the 15th and 16th at the Goodhill Learning Hub, and wrapping up on the 17th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The ASEAN Business Advisory Council (“ASEAN-BAC”) was established by the ASEAN Heads of State and Government (HOSGs) with the mandate to provide private sector feedback and guidance to boost ASEAN’s efforts towards economic integration.
It’s a wrap! We have just rounded up a two-day National Career and Productivity Fair 2022 held on October 28th and 29th 2022, at the Koh Pich Exhibition Hall, which saw a fantastic turnout of more than 30,000 students and job-seekers.
