The ASEAN Business Advisory Council (“ASEAN-BAC”) was established by the ASEAN Heads of State and Government (HOSGs) with the mandate to provide private sector feedback and guidance to boost ASEAN’s efforts towards economic integration.

The ASEAN Business Awards (“ABA”) was launched by the ASEAN-BAC in 2007 to mark ASEAN’s 40th anniversary. The ABA aims to recognise outstanding and successful homegrown businesses in various ASEAN prioritised sectors. The award honours ASEAN companies that have contributed to ASEAN’s economic growth and prosperity, while serving as a platform to spread information on the ASEAN Economic Community (“AEC”) and to promote regional integration, cohesiveness and competitiveness.

Goodhill is honoured to win the 2022 ASEAN Business Award in Priority Sector: Logistics. The evaluation was made possible from a collaboration among the ABA committees, their strategic partners and the assessment panel (comprising member state-appointed judges from each ASEAN country). The assessment criteria included areas such as Growth, Employment, Innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Clinching the ABA reaffirms Goodhill’s position as one of the leading market expansion service providers in the region. We are extremely honoured to be given this recognition, which will certainly motivate us to continue to innovate and grow in the region and beyond. This award is the result of the commitment and drive to succeed demonstrated by the entire Goodhill family over three decades. Emerging strong from the pandemic years, we are heartened that our team has been able to continue providing strong support to our customers and the community, while maintaining sustainable growth. We are also tremendously grateful to our business partners and customers who have supported and worked alongside us through the years to bring us where we are today.

This year, the ABA Gala Dinner was held on 9th November 2022 at The Sofitel Phnom Penh and was graced by H.E. Pan Sorasak, the Minister of Commerce of The Kingdom of Cambodia and Chair of the ASEAN Economic Ministers Meeting, who presented the awards, as well as Neak Oknha Kith Meng who is Chairman of the ASEAN-BAC 2022.

The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the ASEAN Business & Investment Summit (“ABIS”) that was held 9th to 10thNovember 2022. Organised annually by the ASEAN-BAC, ABIS provides a platform for the business community to engage with ASEAN leaders and economic ministers as well as key decision-makers, enhancing ASEAN’s position as an integrated region for trade and investment.
