Goodhill’s annual Management Away Day was held on 17-18 June 2016 at Independence Hotel Resort and Spa, Sihanoukville. Over the two days, the company’s direction and plans were shared and the divisions also shared their division activities. This platform allows everyone to learn from everyone else through the sharing of experiences and success factors. It was also a time of interaction and team building among the management staff.
On 26 June 2016, GOODHILL participated in a community event where we distributed school neccesities to students and food for monks in Kg Chnang. OREO, a brand distributed by GOODHILL, sponsored products for this event. We are very appreciative that Mr. TITH VICHEKA kindly obliged to join us and help spread some joy to the community. Some local celebrities and the general public also volunteered in one way or another at this event. GOODHILL is glad to play a part in this activity to help make a positive difference in the community.
On Feb 14, 2016, Kun Thak Bopha Hospital organized a charity run. Sales proceeds from the charity run tickets go to support the hospital’s care for its patients. GOODHILL also joined in to do our part to raise funds for the hospital by donating OREO products. For every pack of OREO purchased, 500 Riels is donated to the hospital.
Sojitz Corporation has concluded an agreement for a business tie-up through Sojitz (Thailand) Co., Ltd. with Cambodian foodstuff and consumer goods wholesaler, Goodhill Enterprise (Cambodia) LTD (“GHC”) and the headquarter of Goodhill group in Singapore, Goodhill Enterprise (S) PTE LTD. Sojitz and Goodhill have agreed that starting from February 2016 they will begin joint development of the wholesale food business in Cambodia.
This year, Goodhill management and staff celebrated its 22thAnniversary Annual Dinner & Dance at the beautiful coastal city of Kompong Som on 13 Dec 2015. We are honored to have H.E. Tak Vantha and Lok Chhumteo attend our function. It is a time to express appreciation to staff for their contribution and support through the years and where well-deserved staff were recognized for their efforts.
On 31 August 2015, a press release was held at Goodhill Enterprise (Cambodia) Ltd’s office, distributor for Chupa Chups for a meaningful cause “Bag to School”. “Bag to School” is a nationwide campaign founded and organized by CBS (CTN, MyTV, CNC) that aims to donate school bags containing school supplies to Grade One needy students from schools in many provinces in Cambodia. This is the second time that CBS organizes this campaign and Chupa Chups is honoured to be a partner of this campaign this year. The other partners of this campaign are ANZ, Cellcard and Wing. The event was graced by representatives from CBS, journalists from Koh Santepheap, Kampuchea Thmey, Reaksmey Kampuchea and Goodhill representatives.
Goodhill is honoured to organize World Kids Coloring Day 2015 (supported by STAEDTLER) jointly with NTC Group at #100, St. Pasteur (St. 51 – St.200), Sangkat Phsar Thmei III, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 1 Jun 2015. NTC Group is one of the leading educational organization providing quality education in Cambodia. We would like to thank the management of NTC Group and Sunrise NGO for taking time off to join us in this event.
