GOODHILL Enterprise (Cambodia) Ltd., a Singapore-bases sales and distribution company in Cambodia since 1993, is currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and dedicated candidate for the position of Product and Project Sales Manager based in Phnom Penh to join our team and contribute to driving our business forward.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Product

  • Product and Sales Strategy Development: Consistently identify new feasible products to be launched, and then create and implement sales strategies to achieve the revenue growth.
  • Product Management: Oversee product lifecycle from development to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals. Assist the sales team in testing customers’ product return due to manufacturing defects that leads to Damage and Destroy (D&D) procedure. Decide and propose to the sales team (National Sales Manager) whether product replacement is needed.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities such as market price comparison and analysis, price negotiation with principals or suppliers before bringing in and launching the new products.
  • Collaboration: Closely work with sales and marketing team to enhance product offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Training: Provide ad-hoc technical and product knowledge training to the sales team in order to ease their sales process.

Product Sales

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain good relationships with key potential clients or accounts such as developers, main and sub-contractors (including MEP contractors or consultants), panel builders, lighting and interior designers, understanding their needs and providing tailor-made solutions (if possible) with the intention to win more project sales.
  • Technical Advice: Assist customers to meet their product specification needs or even sometimes assist them in providing some technical advice on certain products and/or systems during the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) planning stage for any new projects.
  • Quotation: Prepare and submit quotation to potential customers with the aim to close deal.
  • Project Oversight: Manage project timelines, profitability, and resources to ensure successful project delivery, payment collection and proper contract handling.
  • Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management. This includes the monthly Project Pipeline Report to direct superior, in order to update the project status and follow-up any necessary actions.
  • Responsibility: Take full responsibility in achieving annual project sales target and project channel profitability.
  • Travelling: The candidate is required for domestic travelling to provinces as and when needed for the purpose of work-related matters.
  • Others: Ad-hoc jobs or tasks assigned by direct superior as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • More than 8 years of work experience in project sales and simple project management knowledge, preferably in lighting and electrical products, with at least 2-3 years in managerial or supervisory role.
  • Technically proficient in electrical systems, equipment, and design.
  • Possess a reasonable negotiation skill.
  • Possess an effective time management skill.
  • Possess a problem-solving skill (open-mindset to different cultures, handling customer complaints and able to provide alternative solutions to the problems)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customer relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of conducting product training and delivering technical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in English and Khmer, both written and spoken.
  • Computer literate, with reasonable skills in Microsoft Office and relevant software used in sales and technical proposals and/or PowerPoint presentations.
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivated and self-confident, with patience in winning trust from people.
  • Willing to travel to provinces and/or overseas for work related matters.
