GOODHILL Enterprise (Cambodia) Ltd., a Singapore-bases sales and distribution company in Cambodia since 1993, is currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and dedicated candidate for the position of Demand Planning Supervisor based in Phnom Penh to join our team and contribute to driving our business forward.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasting models, integrating business intelligence, and forecast data from sales, marketing, finance, and other relevant departments.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Implement and oversee the S&OP process to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and inventory planning.
- Order Forecasting: Manage order forecasts for both new and existing products to ensure the right quantities are planned for production and distribution.
- Customer Coordination: Collaborate closely with key customers to ensure supply planning meets their needs, while ensuring service levels consistently meet the company’s KPI of 90%.
- Process Improvement: Continuously enhance demand planning processes and tools to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Analyze and manage inventory levels in line with the company’s guidelines and policies, maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Order and Supplier Management: Prepare monthly order forecasts for approval, place POs with suppliers, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Supplier Communication: Follow up with suppliers on pending POs and ensure shipping documents are obtained in a timely manner for clearance. Liaise with the logistics department to ensure efficient clearance processes.
- Warehouse Coordination: Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to monitor daily inventory status, including expiration dates, short shelf-life products, and high/low inventory levels.
- Quality Control & Complaints: Handle supplier complaints related to product quality issues, including spoilage, damage, short shelf life, or incorrect product deliveries.
- Reporting: Prepare and present monthly demand planning and inventory reports, providing insights to the management team.
- Stock & Shipment Reporting: Generate weekly reports on stock levels and shipment status, alerting the sales team about low/high inventory and adjusting shipments as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably in the [industry, e.g., FMCG, retail, manufacturing].
- Proven experience in implementing and managing demand forecasting and S&OP processes.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues in the supply chain.
- Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of inventory management, supply chain processes, and forecasting methodologies.
- Familiarity with S&OP and its application in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
