GOODHILL Enterprise (Cambodia) Ltd., a Singapore-bases sales and distribution company in Cambodia since 1993, is currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and dedicated candidate for the position of Business Finance Manager based in Phnom Penh to join our team and contribute to driving our business forward.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a team of Biz Finance staff for all trade and operation finance matters.
  • Business Partnering with operation head (BDM) and its Management team, steering and governing with financial decision support
  • Work in collaboration with Business Partners and key stakeholders to drive transformation
  • Support HOD to improve division profitability via system and processes
  • Seen largely as an information provider with analysis for HOD to make sound decision
  • Financial analyst, assessment and advise to support business performance, grow and strategic choices
  • Working with marketing head to manage and control marketing spend and claims.

A. Organization & Governance

  • Implement control and governance guidelines to ensure appropriate controls are in place for marketing activities and processes
  • Put in place a formal system to monitor and control expenditure
  • Put in place a commitment accounting system and link to other financial systems

B. Business Finance Support

  • Establish a business budget plan and provide solution from the gap analysis for BDM/HOD consideration
  • Assist division to engage with Principal as well as customers in related to all finance matters
  • Understand division distribution model and work on cost efficiency to drive profitability
  • Understand and manage BF activities and operations, provide coaching, career plan, and manage their performance to have a clear desk culture
  • Attend division business review meeting with participation to strengthen operation finance matters
  • Understand marketing activities and work with marketing head to manage and control marketing spend and claim

C. Pricing and Excise

  • Assist in new business pricing and excise tax establishment and set up the process
  • Establish pricing structure for all brands in-line with our price to trade (list price) for Principal
  • Manage price to meet channel and customer expectation

D. P&L

  • Analyze division/department P&L and share monthly during Biz review meeting
  • Analyze expenses actual vs plan, the key highlight
  • GP & Net profit analysis, actual vs budget, suggestion and recommendation
  • Analyze DSDE, Admin (Direct/In-Direct) impact net profit. Work online where can potentially improve. Discuss with HOD monthly
  • Assist HOD to drive costs down & increase revenue

E. Petty Cash and Credit Analysis and Control

  • Monthly petty cash analysis with prudent check
  • Manage collection, credit, claim with analysis and share the finding with the action plan during Biz review meeting
  • Review LOA, regularly work customer credit/limit review

F. Business Model Analysis

  • Assessment of credit risk, 100% bill collector, drive COD distribution model for <USD 100 bill
  • Channel distribution analysis (Direct/Indirect) B/E analysis
  • Review system and processes and propose alternatives to improve operational efficiency
  • Assist on fraud analysis with Audit Team, work on strengthen the system and processes
  • Assist HOD to move toward compliant direction and regulatory matters.
