One of the earliest divisions conceived in the early 1990s, Consumer
Goods/FMCG division continues to be one of the key pillars to the Company's
growth.
Our Consumer Goods/FMCG department was set up in 1994, with
Darlierbeing the pioneer brand in the division which we acquired distribution
rights for Cambodia market. We were appointed shortly after by PROCTER &
GAMBLE, a leading international brand for consumer goods, as their
exclusive distributor in Cambodia in 1995. Subsequently, renowned brands
such as Gillette, Oral-B, Duracell were added to our distribution portfolio.
Key factors attributing to the growth in our Consumer Goods/FMCG business
are: strong Principal support, constant improvement of product quality,
increase operational and sales force efficiency, adding products to our
existing distribution network to grow existing markets, keeping updated of
market developments to gain knowledge of the local market and behaviour.
In order to strive for execution excellence, and expand distribution coverage,
we are constantly reviewing our distribution model, setting up strategic
branches and managing our sales organization in the most efficient ways to
cover different market segments and channels in Cambodia.
